Hi, as discussed on tor-internal@ (thread subject: "Email List Wiki") I'd like to remove some unused lists...
onionbox-beta
tor-rt-users
weather
tor-exitscanner
tor-translation
Runa gave an ok for onionbox-beta@ and tor-rt-users@ (the later was a predecessor for support-team-private@). I couldn't find anyone who owns/cares about weather@ nor tor-exitscanner@.
If list removal is self-service then let me know. I didn't spot it in Mailman's admin interface.
Thanks! -Damian
To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information

Is weather the same as the weather@bahri alias that the weather program uses to send the output of its weekly cron? If so it is in use. If not, what is it?
I don't know what weather@bahri is nor if weather@ is receiving emails. If it is a cron then is anyone actually checking it? Evidently I don't have the admin password for weather@ to check.
We can also move tor-translation@. Sherief and others report that Transifex has its own communication channels, and our present list is just spam.
Sounds good to me. But we should send something to the list right before killing it, to let people know that that's happening -- it does include a bunch of translators from 'back in the day', who might want to know a) that the list is dying and b) what they can do to keep informed now.
Subscribed to all the lists except weather@ (which I evidently don't have the password for) so I could send a notice to their members...

If you're receiving this then you're a member of a list we plan todiscontinue...https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/10463In the case of tor-translation@ a list is largely redundant with Transifex(and receives a fair bit of spam). You can contact Colin orhelp@rt.torproject.org for escalation issues. If you have any questions or concerns about one of these lists being shut downthen please let me know! -Damian
I'm happy to wait a few days to see if anyone replies.
Andrew, Peter: Anything else you'd like before we move forward with this?
