Here's another user from #tor who can confirm this (Torbutton is not active and does nothing on clicks / activation attempt via menu / keyboard shortcut) for Torbutton with Firefox 3.5 on OS X 10.5.7 and OS X 10.6, but only on Intel Macs. On OS X 10.5.7 PPC Torbutton works fine with Firefox 3.5.

PS: Sorry for the long line of text, no idea how I managed to create it, and as it seems I can't edit it.

I think I found the reason for the problem with Torbutton. it's not Intel/PPC,
but a different configuration of Torbutton. I had Torbutton with default
configuration on PPC, which made it work there.

Problem is: When you activate "Close all non-Tor Windows and tabs on toggle"
(or so, I don't have it in English here, it's in the Torbutton config, middle tab
(security settings or so), first sub-tab (dynamic content or so), last checkbox
at the bottom, then Torbutton stops being clickable and don't switch on anymore.

The checkbox above that (close all Tor windows and tabs etc.) might be related,
didn't test that.

I can confirm that.

AMD Athlon processor
Windows XP professional SP3
Firefox 3.5.2
Torbutton 1.2.2

When "Close all Non-Tor windows and tabs on toggle (optional)" is checked,
nothing happens when trying to toggle Tor on by
left-clicking on the status bar icon,
or by right-clicking and selecting "Toggle Tor status".

The previous option ("Close all Tor windows...") doesn't seem to matter.

As an unrelated note, I'm seeing my password instead of my username in the "Comment by" header.

Version: 1.2.1Torbutton: 1.2.1

Updating the version from 1.2.1 to Torbutton: 1.2.1 so I can close #1743.
