Description

Our current FAQ page has grown. Some of the entries on https://www.torproject.org/docs/faq.html.en are for Tor power-users, and Tor Browser end-users get confused by them. Making a new web page for Tor Browser questions could help slim down the page on Tor questions.

On the other hand, the wiki FAQ page at https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/wiki/doc/TorBrowserBundle3FAQ needs to be migrated to the website somehow. It has lots of useful information and deserves better presentation. The Tor Browser FAQ could include questions from the Short User Manual and commonly asked questions from the help desk.

Be aware of weasel's hopes that the faq have all the faq entries on one page so he can search it.

I think that's a normal goal for debian people, but maybe 'normal' people search the whole web at once on google and don't care what page their answers are on.

Sure. I turned the Tor Browser wiki FAQ into a web page before I saw this comment. If big FAQ pages are not a problem, I can just move those questions onto the old FAQ page.

More answers in one place looks like its preferable. I've moved over all questions from https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/wiki/doc/TorBrowserBundle3FAQ to the website FAQ page. Closing this ticket now.
