After just install Tor, on msdos windows, this is the message I have :

Mar 03… (warn) Conn_read() :bug : unhandled error on read for Dir connection (fd 236) ; removing
Mar 03… (notice) conn_close_if_marked(): Conn (addr 18…. Fd 236, type Dir, State 1) still wants to flush. Losing 66 bytes ! (Marked at c:\documents and settings_nick mathewson\my documents\src\tor\src\or\main.c:275)

I need some help ! Why doesn't it works. My PC is under WINDOWS XP SP2 with a firm firewall and proxy.
Sorry for my poor english, I'm from Paris (France).

Can you describe what other problems are happening? This message on its own is not a bug; it is normal to see it from time to time. Are you having problems getting onto the network with Tor?

Thanks a lot for your answer !
No others pb for the moment because after the message I had on my screen, I've stopped tor installation, and I've posted to you my message and waiting for your advice ! But Tor doesn't work in my pc for the moment, I can always see my IP on the net !
Do you think I can go on with the install ?

How far did you get in the installation?

Did you configure your web browser to use Privoxy, and Privoxy to use Tor?

As near as I can tell, there isn't a Tor bug here -- probably,
your browser is somehow not configured to use Tor. If you
need help configuring your browser, please feel free to ask on
the or-talk mailing list.
