Entering YouTube's HTML5 trial does not appear to make much difference for which videos are accessible and which aren't. Watching the embedded version of videos is a better solution. We should tell people about the latter.

Using IE10 UA solves 99% of failures.
It's not fault of Firefox or patches, it's Google.
I tested this and it seems to solve the YouTube problem nicely for the few videos I tested. I've attached patches for Torbutton and Torbrowser that replace the user agent string to that of Windows 7 IE11 according to http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ie/hh869301%28v=vs.85%29.aspx
Wow. This is rather amazing that this works for Youtube. Unfortunately, I'm worried that reporting an IE useragent will break other sites that will then send us the IE versions of all sorts of JS and CSS extensions rather than their Firefox equivalents..
This ticket involves documentation. Solutions to this problem that involve changing the Tor Browser make more sense being discussed on #3347 (moved), I think. I'm moving this conversation over there.
