Description

When getting bridges from https://bridges.torproject.org I noticed that Vidalia is still mentioned there. The page that lists the 3 bridges mentions

"To use the above lines, go to Vidalia'2 Network settings page, and click "my ISP blocks connections to the Tor network""

The text should be adapted to the new Torlauncher dialog.

Also on the https://bridges.torproject.org entry page Step 3 "Now add the bridges to Tor" points to a Vidalia screen shot and description.

Thanks for making this ticket. The transition is in progress but the documentation is lagging right now.

If you watch the quick time movie, viadalia is mentioned and shown there.

In the german description: https://www.torproject.org/dist/manual/short-user-manual_de.xhtml

it is not said, that you need to send the bridge mails from a yahoo or gmail server!

I refuse to fix the Short User Manual. It's out of date. It has been for a while. That has nothing to do with updating https://bridges.torproject.org, sorry. If you'd like to fix the Short User Manual, please make or find a ticket for it, and organise with whichever other people are working on that project.

In other words, bridges.torproject.org no longer mentions Vidalia. The email server response still needs to be updated (#11475). These changes were made in my 'fix/10803-remove-vidalia-update-options' branch, and merged into bridgedb-0.2.0.
