Description

Hi Andrew. The 'publish' script for our website is failing at the end with...

...
sent 69615 bytes received 326448 bytes 88014.00 bytes/sec
total size is 74103740 speedup is 187.10
Forcing mirror update
chmod: changing permissions of `/srv/www-master.torproject.org/htdocs/dist/torbrowser/3.5.2/.tor-browser-linux32-3.5.2_it.tar.xz.QuqB8B': Operation not permitted
failed to change mode of `/srv/www-master.torproject.org/htdocs/dist/torbrowser/3.5.2/.tor-browser-linux32-3.5.2_it.tar.xz.QuqB8B' from 0600 (rw-------) to 0644 (rw-r--r--)
There are unreadable files in /srv/www-master.torproject.org/htdocs, not triggering mirror run.

At present I'm trying to get out a small tweak for our GSoC page so we can submit our org application.

It looks like Mike is in the process of uploading 3.5.2. Which file is permissions -rw------- changes depending on when you look.

I guess the recommendation in the future would be for Mike to upload them to someplace other than www-master, since he's basically locked our sandbox during his upload (without actually locking it).

(To clarify, I meant upload them to www-master but not into that directory. And then once he's uploaded them to some other directory, do a mv to the right directory.)

Ahhh gotcha, thanks. :)

Another option would be for the publish script to say that a torbrowser upload is in progress and to try again later.

This happens very infrequently. All seems to work now.
