Description

Inspired by https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/wiki/org/meetings/2014WinterDevMeeting/notes/BridgeBundles

tor-bridge-relay will be a small native package that recommends all bridge servers and contains a torrc that uses them.

We can also add bridge-specific documentation, e.g. advice like "if you are in country X then don't use transport Y because this opens your IP address up to a confirmation attack".

This should be fairly simple to implement, but I filed this bug to collect any comments that anyone might have.

mo suggests to have a separate initscript "tor-bridge-relay" instead of requiring the user to manually cp over /etc/tor/torrc. This would make setup entirely automatic. (They can still edit /etc/tor/torrc manually, if they explicitly want a combined client-and-relay.)

Looking through it a bit more, I think having a separate tor-bridge-relay service would be too much of a burden. It's not just the initscript that needs to be duplicated, but the logrotate, cron, apparmor configs, etc. Something like #1922 would result in a much more maintainable codebase and resulting system.
