Description

When Tor Browser starts, in GNOME Shell it will be grouped with Firefox instead of creating it's own application group. This is most likely down to Tor Browser's the WM_CLASS prop WM_CLASS(STRING) = "Navigator", "Firefox"

Apparently Firefox supports a --class argument which can set the appropriate WM_CLASS.

./Browser/firefox --class "Tor Browser" -profile Data/Browser/profile.default works great for me.
