Description

For SponsorO reports, Karsten suggests that we turn the table in the monthly help desk report into nice graphs. For example: a pie chart with requests by language, another pie chart with rejected vs. answered vs. open, then a bar chart with tickets resolved per day.

Karsten, would you like to create R scripts to generate such graphs? Do you need additional information on top of what is in the reports (e.g. Feb 2014) or a different format?

A git repository has been requested in #11176.

Please see the attached script and output. Will commit to Git once there's a repository.

The 'help' queue is really the default queue. I think it would be best to label the graph as such: “New support tickets per month by queue” with “Default queue”, “French queue”, etc.

You mean in the sense of all tickets first arriving in the default queue and then possibly being assigned to one of the language queues? Makes sense to change that in the graph. Probably also makes sense to add a short explanation to the report, because I think that's not obvious for people reading the report.

Attached a second version of the graph with some more tweaks. The tarball contains a Git history if you're interested in the changes.

Script pushed (with some tweaks) to the new `support-tools` Git repository.

Is there still something to be done here?

Removing the parent ticket relationship, because I want to close the parent ticket.

Looks like there's nothing more to do here. If there is, please re-open. Closing.

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
