Globe feature request: Download descriptors for bridges

I know this is a pretty hefty feature request, but during the past two months of curating the TBB bridges, I have multiple times wished that such a feature was available.

I'm asking for functionality, where if you visit a bridge (or relay) page:
you could click a button and download the last (sanitized) descriptor of that bridge, or the last extra-info descriptor. Even better, have the choice to download the last week worth of descriptors, etc.

This would be immensely useful during my investigations of "Which bridge doesn't have ExtORPort enabled" and "Why do metrics graphs look like they do". It would also be useful in the guard node analysis project, and other research projects.

On the negative side, since Globe relies on onionoo to get its data (and onionoo doesn't provide descriptors AFAIK), it might not be easy to implement this feature. However, a ticket is never a bad idea, right? :)

Sorry, but I can't see how Globe would provide raw descriptors in addition to the Onionoo data. There's a reason why Onionoo exists: handling raw descriptors requires a lot of coding effort and processing power. Globe has enough stuff do to to present the preprocessed Onionoo data in a useful way.

So, my usual suggestion in cases like this is to extend Onionoo to provide the data that Globe or another Onionoo client needs. But providing raw descriptors, even for "just" a week, isn't something I'm comfortable adding to Onionoo. It's hard enough to cope with the load right now, and this feature doesn't seem particularly useful to more than a handful of people.

Here's what you should do: rsync the last three days of bridge descriptors from metrics and grep through them to find what you're looking for.

Sorry, I'm closing this as won't fix. (I hope that's okay for you, rndm, that I'm closing your ticket, but to me this is clearly out of scope.)
