Description

Polipo's help and man says there are a possibility to change config from console with smth like polipo proxyOffline=true.
Such command outputs nothing and polipo doesn't change its config neither immediately nor after restart:

# polipo -v | grep Offline
proxyOffline boolean false Avoid contacting remote servers.
# polipo proxyOffline=true
# polipo -v | grep Offline
proxyOffline boolean false Avoid contacting remote servers.
# service polipo restart
Stopping Web Cache: [ OK ]
Starting Web Cache: [ OK ]
# polipo -v | grep Offline
proxyOffline boolean false Avoid contacting remote servers.

Real behaviour doesn't changes too. Switching var on-the-fly from webface ("http://localhost:8123/polipo/config?") works fine.
Polipo version from git 2009-12-16, last commit 11af3996e126fe9042f869869fc1c7dbcdee3546.

I'm not able to find a bug here. Setting configuration variables from the
command line does seem to work as intended. Note that when you set
a variable this way, the configuration file isn't updated, so when Polipo
is started a second time without the variable present on the command line
the change is lost.
