HTTPS-Everywhere 4.0dev17 gets updated every day

In the past few days, HTTPS-E 4.0dev17 gets updated every day or so. In the Add-on preference window it appears in the "Updated Add-ons tab" every day as if it has been updated, although I have been using 4.0dev17 since the end of May.
If I check manually for Add-on updates, nothing happens though. All other add-ons work normally.
