create a tor-blog git repo

Hi,

I assume we do more than git --init --bare for repos on cupani. Can someone create a tor-blog git repo? I'm going to start the project to migrate from drupal to jekyll in it and eventually push it live as the full blog.

Thanks. Pretending I don't have root access to the git-rw server, or other git repos already there, I tried the instructions at https://gitweb.torproject.org/githax.git?a=blob;f=doc/Howto.txt;hb=HEAD, which results in this:

fatal: '/var/cache/git/tor-blog.git' does not appear to be a git repository
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

.git/config url parameter is:

url = ssh://git.torproject.org/var/cache/git/tor-blog.git

What's wrong?

githax is super outdated on that, it seems. nickm: should we abandon it or update it?

What you do is you clone ssh://git@git-rw.torproject.org/tor-blog, and that should work.

And the new result is:

W access for tor-blog DENIED to andrew
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

I put phobos instead of andrew, because phobos already had other git permissions. I updated both to use andrew now
