Hi Sebastian, isn't this simply what the user provided via a '--tor' argument? Printing an extra "(tor)" when using the defaults seems a tad less clear to me...

Starting tor... (tor)

Feb 10 07:56:06.522 [notice] Tor v0.2.6.2-alpha-dev (git-37d16c3cc78151da) running on Linux with Libevent 2.0.16-stable, OpenSSL 1.0.1 and Zlib 1.2.3.4.

During the unit tests run I wondered which tor executable was called. Maybe the clearest thing would be "Starting $executable..."?

Yup, I'd be fine with that.
