0001-Use-https-URLs-for-golang.org.patch.gz changes from http://golang.org/ to https://golang.org/ for downloads. It actually doesn't work when you use a Wget without support for SNI, like the one on the shared build VM. But the same problem also exists with https://ftp.dlitz.net/ for pycrypto, so I figured it was okay.
