current manual spreadsheet tracking is not working. main problems are: delays on delivery (up to ~2months delay) and overhead to people with all the manual work.


That has been discussion and a solution was identified but never implemented. 

Isabela is working with  Steve and Tom to pick up the old plan and implement it.

I heard the name 'Harvest' at the Boston meeting. Apparently it's something like $10 per user per month. If it lets our accounting people succeed at doing accounting more smoothly, sounds great to me!

We should dogfood it a bit before we sign up. I already vvolunteered to try it out; guess I'd better get on that.

Harvest is pretty great, particularly for events where you wind up with a million receipts.  I'd propose that $10/month is easy for contractors to absorb as well.  Which would prevent some kinds of issues related to record-keeping for outside contracts and archive access when they are no longer a contractor at Tor.
