Description

Right now, we're making graphs on daily users from Bahrain, China, Cuba, Ethiopia, Iran, Burma, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and Yemen. As soon as (1) we have a sane website that doesn't just list all graphs on one page and (2) we have a database instead of files, we can extend this list to more countries. (1) is the bigger problem than (2) here. Jake would like to see Lebanon, Qatar, and Egypt. In theory we could just provide graphs for all countries in the GeoIP database.

Right, I think it would be good to have the popular countries in here too -- Germany, US, Russia, France, England, Italy, Korea, Canada, Israel, Brazil, Spain, Poland... most of these are more popular than the countries we're currently displaying.

I'd like to see North Korea (CC: KP) as they recently came online with 175.45.176.0/22

Maybe we should just add all countries in the GeoIP database, or people will wonder why we picked the current set of countries. With the current drop down box people should still be able to find the country they care about.

When we make this change, we'll finally have to use a country list in both web/WEB-INF/users.jsp and rserve/graphs.R. We should use a SortedMap for the JSP, so that we can display countries sorted by name. One way to simplify the R script is to write "Directly connecting Tor users from Italy" instead of "Directly connecting Italian Tor users." (Note that some countries require the defined article, e.g., "the Netherlands.")
