If Tor Messenger uses its list of search engines (Preferences -> Advanced -> General -> Manage Search Engines), please install a privacy-preserving search engine, and select it by default.

I'd suggest DuckDuckGo, but it doesn't like Tor users.

If Tor Messenger uses its list of search engines

Select some text and you can search from the context menu (right click). That feature should probably be disabled.

With commit 7cd77ca26, we disable the 'Search with...' context menu that is used to query the default search engine (Google), and we also remove the search engine configuration from the preferences menu. (We may revisit this later when we implement launching Tor Browser from Tor Messenger.)
