Description

Hi,

My Tor Browser (v5.0 on OS X v10.10.5) does not save the privacy preferences, not even for the current session.

I set History preferences to "Never remember history" and then perform a "Clear all current history" action and close the preferences tab.
Then (either with and without restarting the browser) when I open the preferences again it jumps back to "Use custom settings" with enabled "Accept third party cookies".

Am I doing something wrong? or is it a bug that need to be fixed?

I Also have these Extensions installed:

AdBlock Plus 2.6.10

BetterPrivacy 1.68.1

Ghostery 5.4.6.1

HTTPS-Everywhere 5.1.0

NoScript 2.6.9.36

Privacy Setting 0.1.5

TorButton 1.9.3.2

TorLauncher 0.2.7.7

Thank you in advance,

Regards.

A comment: AdBlock Plus 2.6.10, BetterPrivacy 1.68.1 and Ghostery 5.4.6.1 are not part of a standard Tor install. I wouldn't run extra FF plug ins in a Tor environment. Ghostery has the ability to send data to a third party ad statistics company.

"Never remember history" is already the default setting. So, there is something wrong with your setup probably due to the myriad of other extensions you have installed. If the problem happens with a Tor Browser we ship in its default mode then please reopen the ticket.
