I very much disagree. If anything I would vote for ad and tracker blocking by default.

I use Firefox's tracking protection and haven't seen any site breakage.

This is a very weak argument. Firefox is already huge (HUGE). I very much doubt the code for this feature is significant in comparison. Where are your numbers?
