SSL error in Tor Messenger

Hi, I'm getting the attached error when attempting to connect to on Tor Messenger. My settings are identical in Pidgin (port 6697, use SSL), where it is working fine.

Thanks for reporting; it looks like you forgot to attach the error.

But likely what's happening is that oftc is limiting the amount of incoming connections from the exit node ("No more connections permitted from your host").

We need to get in touch with them. Related is #10177

I had a talk with someone from Tails and they told me they tried to get in touch with OFTC multiple times to talk about OFTC blocking Tor but the OFTC people never replied. I doubt we will have much success there. And this is especially bad for us because Tor uses OFTC and if users can't connect to our channel using Tor Messenger, well, it's not a good thing. (The Tails people also refreshed exits but couldn't connect for a long time. Not to forget, that is not a proper solution.)

I wonder how else we can solve this.
