I use the Wunderlist task manager web application. For some unclear reason, signing into the website fails on Tor Browser.

Steps to reproduce (last tested on TB 5.0.4):

  1. Go to
  2. Click the "Sign In" button
  3. Use these credentials - email: tortest@… password: TORtesting
  4. Notice the app get's stuck in endless redirection between and

The above steps will succeed on FireFox, including when set to manually proxy through the Tor Network. This indicates that the problem is not related to Tor IP addresses being blocked, but something the Tor Browser does.

Troubleshooting steps I have tried without luck:

  • Contacted Wunderlist support who responded "Tor Browser" is not supported :)
  • On Tor Browser, I have cleared all history, set the tor-button privacy to the most lenient settings, and disabled NoScript and HTTPS-Everywhere extensions. Still no luck.
