Works for me on a Ubuntu 12.04 with XFCE. Does this happen with a clean, new Tor Browser 5.5.3? On which Linux Distribution? Did you change the security slider level? Can you give me exact steps to reproduce your problem?

I tried a bit and this seems to be a duplicate of #17761.
