Description

The bandwidth chart scale will adjust accordingly to the maximum rate (increasing as traffic rate increases) but does not adjust when rates fall. This makes reading periods of lower traffic difficult as the rate is fixed on the maxiumum achieved.

It should drop eventually, but not necessarily just because the peak point has shifted out of your current view. TorCP looks at your current display width and tries to determine approximately how many data points could possibly be displayed. For example, on my 1600x1200 screen, TorCP keeps a history of the last 800 data points. Doing so enables the bandwidth graph to be exapnded to the full width of your screen and still see older data points that may have shifted out of the current graph size, should you make your bandwidth graph wider. This also means that, since I have 800 possible data points, that it will take 13.33 minutes for a maximum data point to be shifted out.

If this bothers you, you can also right-click on the graph and select "Reset" which will zero out your history.

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
