Tor seems to be always using the same exit node

Description

I am running tor 0.1.0.15. I connected using a torified SSH to seven different hosts I have an account on. *Every time*, anon-tor-proxy.maximator.org has been chosen as an exit node. Not one single other exit node has been used.

I am quite worried about that, as it may be a flaw in Tor route selection.

Oh, it looks like Tor chooses the same route for some time, even when the target is different (different hosts, different port). I thought it kept the same path for the same destination only.

Tor is going to pick any available node. If you restarted tor between each attempt, then that's a problem. Otherwise, Tor will re-use a circuit

up until high_uptime is reached. This is expected behavior.
