Description

It appears that Mozilla fixed its WebSocket DNS leak here:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/751465
and Georg successfully landed a regression test in Firefox to ensure that WebSockets don't leak DNS requests:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/971153

So is it true that we can drop our #5741 patch now?

I don't think so. We could try enumerating things we definitely want to get done before dropping that one, see: comment:17:ticket:12620 and comment:19:ticket:12620 for some remaining items. Then after those child tickets got resolved we could come back and think harder about dropping the patch for #5741.
