Description

When you try to direct message another Twitter user, the window just hangs. I probably should reference #22058 here, since better testing will address issues like these.

alison could you try Tor Browser 7.0a3? We moved to Mozilla's first party isolation code when we switched to ESR52 and, assuming our patches are the culprit, this problem might be solved with the new code.

Hey gk, so sorry I never responded. The issue did resolve with the next version of TB and then I forgot about it. But now in 7.0.8 it's back.

Huh. Could you give me the first version that fixed things for you and the first that broke it again? You'll find older ones at https://archive.torproject.org/tor-package-archive/torbrowser.

I don't know, because I haven't been monitoring it closely. Sorry! It is somehow working again in 7.0.9 at the lowest security setting. I'm quite certain it wasn't just a latency issue the last time, because I changed my circuit and it still wasn't functioning.

I'll keep an eye on it.
