Edit blog leading image size and alignment

Description

The current leading image is aligned left and is not capable of being the same width as images in the blog body. Ideally, we'd follow Open Graph protocol.

For now, can we have a centered leading image which is allowed to be the width of the blog container, like the body images?

I am confused between the leading image alignment and the open graph protocol that you mention.

Do you mean http://opengraphprotocol.org/ ?

My idea here would be to modify the css so that the image is centered and the max width property is set to the container.

Yes, we could eventually include tags to optimize the images for different social media platforms, I think. But not a priority now, so would have been more efficient for me to leave that comment out.

Yes, this would be perfect.

Ok, let's use this ticket to track fixing the leading image alignment then.

Let's use another ticket to discuss the adoption of RDFa, microdata or microformats on the blog and possibly the website. Personally I'd prefer if we stay out of facebook's metadata collecting machine ;) although I can understand the advantages when you have to share stuff on social media.
