Description

Noscript does not stop a webm video's audio from playing even though it is blocked, and Tor Browser Bundle's security setting is set to high.

  1. Open Tor Browser Bundle.
  1. Set its security to high.
  1. Drag the webm that I attached onto Tor Browser Bundle.
  1. The audio of the video should play even though it should be blocked.

Why should it be blocked if it's a local file?

Replying to cypherpunks:

I was not sure if this just effected local files or webm videos hosted on websites.
I just tested some webm videos hosted on some websites and the audio does not play, it only effects local files from what I can tell. So if it is not a issue then you can close this ticket.

Yes, I think NoScript playing a file from a trusted location is not a bug.
