Description

Busy servers usually mysteriously crash after a day or two of uptime.

Possibly related to src/common/crypto's crypto_seed_rng() or some other openssl state.

Please fix.

Maybe it only happens on SMP (or at least hyperthreading) machines.

tor26 has died often, seppia (only a single CPU) not a single time.
Maybe seppia is just too slow, but it has pushed 700kB/sec sustained
at times, peaking up to twice that for short amounts of time.

I haven't seen any more mysterious crashes since I disabled RAND_poll in crypto_seed_rng().

I'm not sure what the stack-smashing bug there is, but I'm going to call this closed until
we need to reopen it.
