HTTPS Everywhere randomly disappears from the mobile browser UI
Some addons install but unable to open or run. Https everywhere randomly disappears.

Try reinstalling TorBrowser completely, make sure you delete the torbrowser-data folder. Also make sure you DO NOT install any 3RD party ad-ons

I did do a reinstall but i didnt remove any data folders. It was the addon that come with the browser, https everywhere, i didnt have much of an issue with no script. I have been trying to add others though eg self destructing cookies, which installs but wont open.
Yes sorry, i didnt give much info on issues. It actually did both, sometimes it would disappear completely, other times the icon was in the addons folder but wouldnt open. Im aldo having a problem with insecure connection on certain sites, nothing i do corrects it. It would be greatly appreciated if i could get some advice for that.

There's "New Identity" in the Torbutton which removes all cookies and stuff and gives you, well, a "New Identity". You shouldn't thus install that addon.

Then that's not an issue, if you want the icon to be permanently at your disposable open the menu then click on "Customize" at the very bottom, then find where the HTTPS Everywhere icon is located and then place it where you want it to be permanently.
Im aldo having a problem with insecure connection on certain sites, nothing i do corrects it. It would be greatly appreciated if i could get some advice for that.
What's the exact problem? Also which sites if possible?

Ehttps everywhere has disappeared now, its still in the folder but wont open. The new identity button i have come across thst before but cant rememmber where, is that in orbot? Im sorry but i cant find any customize button. Theres a lot of sites that have a grey icon one is ://zqktlwi4fecvo6ri.onion/wiki/index.php/Main_Page6 Sorry if im not giving the right information, im not very tech minded.

Located the new identity button, when pressed it gave a new identity but didnt change anything to do with https everywhere.

I also get a triangle icon, when i click it says partmof this page are not secure (such as images)

No it comes back while im looking in settings, changing like privacy or do not track, autoplay etc, i havnt been able to put my finger on what resets it back to normal though. I didnt have much of a problem with it last night, however the insecure websites are driving me mad, i cant correct it no matter what. It seems to be gettings worse eg when i click back to previous page on a search it will ask to resend information which it didnt do before.

I tried reinstalling orbot/orfox again but nothing changed. The problem i have must not restricted to orbot/orfox as i downloaded firefox to see if it would help. It looks like im restricted to adding two addons, i have https everywhere and open in tor and neither of them seem to work. Also the website is not a secure connection is the same in firefox.

NoScript isn't available for Firefox on Android yet (but there's a working version for Orfox).
Anyway, open Orfox and then type in
about:addons, what are the addons that you see?-
Well that explains that one then. When i typ in about:addons there is https everywhere, no script and tor browser settings.

Which insecure websites? Can add more details? By the way it may be due to HTTPS Everywhere forcing you to land on an https of a website when it certificate expired for example, that's why you need to give all the details so that I can investigate it.

It was an issue, but last day and half it stopped disappearing, not long after i opened this ticket ( typical ) Your dead on about the certificate thing, ive just come across something about an ssl certificate in an app i was running by chance. I have no idea how to fix that. There are loads of sites that the insecure website error on eg. /hiddenwikitor.com/ also guardianhometechnologies.com/home-automation.html but many more, i also come across one on the guarian project website with a cross through it saying something about images but for life of me i cant find it again to show you

It's an issue with DuckDuckGo so it isn't fit for the Tor Project's bug tracker :)
