For Android are we at a stage where we don't offer Tor Browser per locale anymore, rather we offer one bundle containing all the locales we currently support. It seems the mockup for Android needs to get adapted for that.

Another thing that made me curious: what is the relationship between mobile and desktop download? Shouldn't mobile be one of the options in the Platform drop down on instead of an own thing?

Thirdly, if I get the option to download Tor Browser as we have it right now, how are users getting the opportunity to download alpha releases etc.? Currently they have a way to navigate from the stable download to the alpha download (and expert bundle) but it seems that's not possible anymore with the new design?

Thanks for reviewing it geko! We iterated over that version and the one which is going to reach live, after your review, is here:

Basically, we removed the input select because is hard to make it work without js, and we want to provide a good experience for users with that opt-out. With this version, users are able to select the version per operative system, and we will offer the localized version if they arrive from

Also, we will allow users to download another language and other versions, as you see clicking the prototype.

I included a section for TBA, which still needs some work on the download buttons.

We need some copy review, but the UX is almost shaped. What do you think?

Okay, we chatted a bit about that and here are some notes

19:29 <+GeKo> for the "download in another locale" page
19:30 <+GeKo> we should just have 32bit and 64 bit as options
19:30 <+GeKo> (if there are those two)
19:30 <+GeKo> and 64bit first

(and I actually mean no "32/64-bit (sig) / 64-bit (sig)" options but "64-bit (sig) / 32-bit (sig)" ones)

19:32 <+GeKo> i wonder whether we should show which version we are offering for download, though
19:33 <+GeKo> but maybe i am the only one that gets nervous by clicking on a thing
19:33 <+GeKo> and suddenly some binary is supposed to get downloaded
19:33 <+GeKo> without knowing whether that's the version i should have or what the current version actually is
19:33 <+GeKo> but i think i don't have strong feelings here

Most importantly, though:

19:34 <+GeKo> good stuff!
