Description

Currently, arm's header consists of three lines, on two sides, containing a fixed selection of information. It would be fun to customize this info, picking and choosing what to display, and in which columns. The parameters for this could be stored in ~/.arm/conf in a plain-text format.

I'm suspecting that there's a lot more logic baked into the header panel than you know. :)

All the fields shift and modify themselves based on the screen size. For instance...
... small screens show all the options in a single column (and drop the exit policy)
... the exit policy shows abbreviated values (color coded entries like "*:80") if there isn't enough room to display the full words
... just about all the attribute fields drop whole logical portions rather than displaying cropped values, and choose what they drop based on priority of the content
... etc

So this definitely isn't a trivial feature to add. Also, I doubt that it's highly desired. If you can find others that really want this capability then I'll be happy to add it to the todo, but for now I don't think that this would be worth the effort.
