Description

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=440892 suggests we may not be showing the user any warning for mailto: protocols, etc. Maybe our external app warning patch covers this? Or maybe not.

We are disabling mailto: by setting network.protocol-handler.external.mailto to false. Otherwise the user gets a dialog asking which tool they want to use to deal with mailto: links. Is that what you expect? Or do you want to have some different behavior?

Was disabling mailto: a temporary fix to a problem? Does it make sense to keep it disabled for security or other reasons, or can it be enabled again? If it can be enabled again, what are the blockers, if any, preventing it from being enabled?
