lets add:

"Do NOT add MyFamily lines to your bridge configuration files."

to the torrc and MyFamily section of the man page.

What was the goal here?

I don't know of any harm in having family entries in a bridge descriptor.

The harm is in having bridges listed in a relay descriptor. And I guess maybe we worry that bridge operators will slip up and put their family entries in both?

That's not possible, Tor already warns and ignores family lines on bridges.

To close this ticket, we should document that relays and bridges should not include bridges in their MyFamily lines.

And we should do it in the man page and sample torrc files.
