Is Tor Browser built to target OSX 10.9? In theory, ever since #26876 was fixed, Tor should be able to work fine if you build it targeting an older OSX SDK.

This bug is being tracked in #27482. The short story is that Tor Browser 8.0.1, which is coming soon, will include a new Tor which will fix this problem.
