Tor Button Alpha causes random FF 4 crash

Description

I have FF4 (final) and Torbutton 1.3.2-alpha (among other add-ons).

With Torbutton add-on enabled FF4 will intermittently crash, i.e. FF4 window disappears and Mozilla crash reporter appears.

Note that add-on is enabled, but button Tor is not activated when this occurs (normal, non-tor FF4 usage).

If I disable Torbutton, issue disappears.

I am tech savvy and would like to help. What info, logs, settings, can I provide to help isolate this issue? Here's a link to the last mozilla crash report I submitted on this:

Can you provide the list of addons you have installed?

What happens if you create a fresh, blank Firefox profile:

http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing%20profiles

Can you still get the issue to happen with *only* torbutton installed in this fresh profile?

Oh, I should have removed Extension List Dumper as I only added that to provide the list to you.

The ‘assign’ radio button at the bottom of the page sometimes selects itself.

So I ran FF4 with a clean profile with just torbutton alpha installed for a whole day (the crashing was occurring every ~4-6 hours. It would not crash.

Then I switched back to my regular profile and re-enabled torbutton. That was this morning and it has run all day without a crash. Could it have something to do with the order in which extensions are installed/enabled?

It could also be a case of correlation != causation, i.e. there was some other thing I changed right around the time I installed and then disabled Torbutton that caused the crashes.

At any rate, I guess you may just want to close this ticket and I can re-open if it happens again. :-(

Heheh. Thanks. It probably was some transient addon conflict-related issue that was fixed by mozilla once they saw the crash reports.
