Description

With vidalia 0.2.12 (0.2.10 showed the same German entry but I never cared) from vidalia-bundle-0.2.2.24-alpha-0.2.12.exe I found out that it displaysa link at "Beteiligung" ("Sharing")

"Wie finde ich eine Tor-Brücke?" which would be "How do I find a (tor-)bridge?"
If that link is clicked nothing happens (0.2.10 too, but I did not care).

After switching to English it shows "Who has used my bridge?"
If that link is clicked it shows a message/statistic (like expected).

I did screenshots which I attach.

This is a problem of the translations, since some links are changed (who knows why).

Looking at the output of:

grep -nR "msgstr \"<a href=" *

there are things like:
src/vidalia/i18n/po/pl/vidalia_pl.po:2677:msgstr "<a href=
\"bridges.finding
\">Jak jeszcze mogę znaleźć węzły-mosty?</a>"

This kind of problems are kind of hard to find automatically, sorry Runa :)

The problem with the German version of Vidalia was that a string had been translated with the wrong text. This has now been fixed.

As for the other files, I have found and fixed links in the following files:

  • de/vidalia_de.po
  • pl/vidalia_pl.po

I think that's it. Did I miss anything?

Fixed for now, but we should probably have some kind of review process to make sure that links have been translated correctly.
