Description

It seems like https://donate.torproject.org/ is having an issue and leaking huge amount of memory and using too many CPU resources as well.

See the joined screenshot taken with about:performance with Firefox stable (65) on ArchLinux. Maximum for other websites is 50MB for heavy ones, here you can see 2GB+ and 700+MB. It's not instant and takes up some time to increase.
Energy impact was seen as a maximum of 60 while most of other websites are under 1.0.

Additional information: it's visible on the screenshot, but I'm blocking many unwanted resources through uBlock origin/uMatrix. This could be from blocked requests stacking indefinitely, but this should definitely not happen.

hiro: I saw on irc that you had some guess about what this might be, and took some step to get closer to fixing it?

Do we know if this is still an issue? Shouldn't this be one for GR to fix?
