#3005 closed defect (user disappeared)

TorButton breaks posting text (subject and body) on forums, Tor blog, etc.

Description

When using TorButton 1.3.* alpha with FF 4.0 (beta and otherwise) installed, portable and TBB 2.2.24-1 alpha, I cannot post at forums where I am a member nor at Tor blog and other blogs.

When I write a post and then sent the post (e.g., clicking 'submit') everything seems to work fine, but my post(s) never appear. The same happens when sending PMs on forums. I have not tested with sending emails, e.x., with web based email services, but I will try shortly.

Considering I use Tor mostly for posting at forums, blogs, email, etc., I cannot use TorButton alpha nor TBB 2.2.24-1 alpha due to this major issue.

Are you sure this is not an addon conflict? I am able to post comments to the Tor blog, at least up to the preview point.

Can you get to the Preview step of your comments on the tor blog? Does this work? It works for me...

HG2G: We are trying to do a Torbutton 1.3.3 release today. If we can repo this as an FF4-specific issue, we'll fix it for this release. But if it is an addon conflict, or if you don't reply with a way for us to repro, it may miss this release.
