#30223 new defect

Noscript "Disable restrictions for this tab" no longer working as expected

Since about two to three weeks (unfortunately I cannot pinpoint exact date or update) NoScript "Disable restrictions for this tab" is no longer working as expected on some sites which requires reCAPTCHA solving. When disabling restrictions for a tab, in order to be able to fill in a Google reCAPTCHA, not all restrictions are disabled. Restriction for for example is not disabled which is required to show the reCAPTCHA. Instead you have to disable restriction for globally for it to work.

Is this something that is caused by a bug in NoScript or is it intended (changed) behavior to make reCAPTCHA solving a bit more cumbersome?

Might be a regression in NoScript. Could you test older NoScript versions and pinpoint the exact version that introduce this problem? (see for older NoScript versions)

Sorry for delay.

Tested all versions from 10.2.2 and the issue was introduced in the last version, 10.6.1, Apr 10. Could not replicate the issue in regular Firefox although I am not 100% sure all the settings were exactly the same.

v 10.6.1
x Make RequestGuard's header processing synchronous as needed
x Fixed inconsistencies handling browser-internal URLs
x Fixed resetting options works just once per session

(defaults reference current settings) - issue #69

x [Locale] Updated Transifex-managed locales (de, fr, it, tr, nl)

Any news on this? Not fixed in 10.6.2.
