One particular thing about 16 is that Calendar 1.7.0 has implemented https://github.com/nextcloud/calendar/pull/602 which should make it possible to share calendars with circles as well as groups. This has been requested at least twice from what I've heard.

I like to wait a week after a major release before upgrading, just to not be the first out of the gate who gets to eat all the bugs. For a project like nextcloud, new major versions are not released just for security fixes, so it seems safe to me to plan to do this upgrade this weekend after reviewing other people's experiences with 16 and making sure there aren't any breaking issues.

Hey! It is not possible to import boards in deck unless the API is available. And we have a few boards in storm/wekan right now that would be good not to have to migrate by hand.

Can we have the API available for deck? https://deck.readthedocs.io/en/latest/API

It seems upstream nextcloud does not even roll-out new releases until
the first minor release is ready:

“When a major new version comes out, we wait about one week and only
when no problems are found we start the roll out in steps of about 20%
of our user base per week. In practice this means a new release is
typically only available in the stable channel after the first minor
release. Users can always upgrade sooner by choosing the beta channel,
which typically tracks stable releases immediately after publishing.”

Given that this release breaks many apps, and they are scrambling to
update, I think its better to follow their process than upgrade too
