At the moment we only have blog.torproject.org and torproject.org bookmarked by default in Tor Browser.
I know that we have all those links to the documentation in buttons and other places, but I still need to type or click on something to go to other TPO websites. Now that we have an auto-complete function in address bar, that would nice.
Can we have these addresses bookmarked by default in Tor Browser for Android and Desktop?

I was wondering if it's possible to have a folder with the extra links instead of each link occupying their own individual space. The latter would feel a tad spammy imo. A folder with all those links would be perfect!

Yes, we can. We can use something like:

Where the "folder" is declared with a <DT> tag and the new bookmarks are nested inside another <DL> tag.
We had #10012 (moved) back then which I duped over now given this ticket. Maybe there is something to consider from its description while we are at adding bookmarks:
If not presented in a spammy way (maybe a bookmark folder like 'Tor Project Resources' to strike the right balance), links from check.torproject.org and resources like atlas, compass, a donation link, etc. could be included in TBB by default.
