Aight so i updated from 8.5.5 to 9.0.0 and I keep getting these white boarders inside the actual browser window. They encircle the entire thing.

Hmm after reading about this a bit, this seems to not be a bug, but rather something intentional. Guess ill just never update again then, like everyone else suggests.

This is not a defect, but a feature. It aims to reduce your fingerprint. The technique is called "letterboxing". You can read more here:

It's not recommended to disable this feature, as it will decrease your anonymity. But if it bothers you, then you can go to about:config and set privacy.resistFingerprinting.letterboxing to false. Not recommended though!
