Description

Hi there,

Some of the java games dont work on Tor browser. It says it needs "webassembly" feature which i dont know what that is. I tried downloading some extensions but still didnt work. is there a reason why Tor cant deploy webassembly?

WebAssembly is enabled in the alpha version of Tor Browser, you can try it there for now. For the stable version, you'll have to wait until 9.5. Closing this for now, you can reopen if the stable 9.5 is out and wasm still does not work there.

You sure it is really okay to enable WebAssembly? Its source code is compiled and hard to analyze. Can I disable it once it moved to stable branch?

Replying to cypherpunks:

If it's like Firefox, you can set javascript.options.wasm=false in about:config.
