Tables on metrics website delay page loading

Description

The content of tables on the metrics website is generated on demand, just as graphs and CSV exports are. For graphs this doesn't matter so much, because the browser can load the page without the graph, leaving a blank, and display the graph once it's there. Tables, however, are integrated into the HTML. The user has to sit there waiting until all table contents are generated.

Any idea how to work around this problem?

As of today, all table data with default parameters (as well as graphs and .csv files) are periodically re-generated, regardless of page requests. If a user customizes a table, the data will still be generated and the user has to wait. But if a user just loads a website without any parameters, she should never have to wait for data to be generated.

Closing.
