When I visit _any_ HS web site using TBB* the web sites fail to load [1]. Yet when those very same web pages are visited via. Tor2Web they load just fine.

  • tested and confirmed on Windows XP SP3 using fresh TBB with Tor v0.2.2.31-rc and TBB with Tor v.

[1] Sites tested include the following:

  1. (Tor example HS) http://duskgytldkxiuqc6.onion
  2. (WikiLeaks) http://sx3jvhfgzhw44p3x.onion

I bet your clock, timezone, or date are wrong.

Man, you're smart. Hidden Services are working again. According the NIST app "NISTIME 32", my local clock time - NIST = 10911.519 seconds. So my clock was ~181.86 minutes off.

I set my timezone to UTC under the Admin account, but under Guest account the time didn't change to reflect the UTC timezone. That is what fracked up my Tor. However, I thought Tor used to break completely when the time was too far off(?). Windows is such a P.O.S.
