enabling full country name output for "status/clients-seen" (2-letter code already implemented)

Description

This is what is already implemented for Bridges:

Via ControlPort and GETINFO" you can get this:
status/clients-seen"
A summary of which countries we've seen clients from recently,
formatted the same as the CLIENTS_SEEN status event described in
Section 4.1.14. This GETINFO option is currently available only
for bridge relays. (from control-spec.txt)
-> CountrySummary=us=16,de=8,uk=8

As Tor uses Maxminds geoip database it might be also nice to have a full country name output as well and not only the 2-Letter Code.

This seems like feature-creep to me: it's something a controller could definitely do for itself. Nonetheless, I'm not dead set against it if there's some reason it needs to be in Tor.

(Tor doesn't actually ship the maxmind db; we ship a compressed version that is likely to become even more compressed in the future.)

Ok, I can see the creepy part in it, agreed. And yes, controllers could do the letter2name translation by him/herself, so I'm not really keen to have this feature implemented in tor itself. I just thought it might be easier for the eye.
Anyway, if one think that this is just another step away from user-protection, feel free to close this ticket, no hard feelings :-)

Well, somebody would have to implement it; and it would be more data we'd need to parse and store; and unlike 2-letter country codes, country names would need to get localized to be actually useful for a controller.

So I'm going to mark this as won't-implement. Thanks for sharing the idea, though! It's still better to share an idea than not.
