Bonne soirée,

Is there a reason you choose not to toggle JavaScript along with Java when Tor is in use?

It was my understanding that JavaScript can comprise anonymity just like Java. Presently
I toggle JavaScript manually but I would like to see this feature in TorButton. New users
and those unaware of JavaScript dangers may not manually toggle JavaScript to their detriment.

If you disable Javascript, Torbutton will keep it off. Torbutton has various measures that prevent js
from damaging your anonymity. JS is not as deadly as Java, but it is tricky. Torbutton compensates
for various things it can do. Modulo browser exploits, it is safe to use Javascript with Tor
with the alpha series of torbutton.
